To garner millennial runners’ interest in Brooks, we’ve devised a device that disrupts their relationship with their current running shoes. We know they’re interested in health-related data and currently little-known tech exists catered specifically to runners. Traditionally to get an assessment of your run style, one would go to a specialty run store and let an employee determine what shoe works best based on a brief interaction. With Brooks Gait Gauger, runners are able to see the detailed metrics of their run in an interactive way. The insoles go into any pair of running shoes in need of an upgrade— then go for a run. Pairing the soles to the Brooks Gait Gauger app will allow users to discover an in-depth analysis of how their stride, pace, cadence, foot strike, and propulsion making a data-driven recommendation as to which Brooks sneaker is the perfect fit.
